The conference offers 5 to 7 parallel sessions each day, including more than 600 presentations in total.
The programme consist of plenary sessions, key sessions, workshops and satellite symposia. The sessions will deal with advancement of education and research in relation to epidemiology, pathology, diagnosis, prevention and management of wounds.
Key sessions
Key sessions consist of 4-6 key note lectures held on one particular prevailing topic within the area of wound healing. Although mainly theoretical, key sessions will also include time for discussions between lecturers and audience.
Workshops
A number of workshops will be offered at the conference.
The workshops are typically held in a smaller setting that key sessions and free paper sessions. The workshops are interactive and offer the opportunity to address and elaborate on particular aspects within the theme of the individual session. The content of the workshops will be a mix of theoretical and practical approaches.
Free paper and poster topics
Free papers and posters can be submitted for any topic in wound healing and wound management.
